Need help with Italian Trainer? We are happy to help. The app teaches Italian verb meanings and conjugations with offline flashcards, lesson plans, and per-session progress.

Frequently asked questions
Does the app need internet?
No. Practice, progress, browse, and settings work fully offline once the app has loaded. The app only uses the network if you tap a link to open this website in your browser.
How do I get started?
On the Lesson plan tab, create a lesson plan and add verbs. Create a practice session that includes one or more plans. On Practice, tap the session chip at the top and choose that session — or All verbs. The in-app Help screen has the full guide.
Why isn’t pronunciation working?
Pronunciation uses your device’s text-to-speech engine. Make sure media volume is up, then install an Italian voice if needed:
- Android: Settings → Language & input (or Accessibility) → Text-to-speech → Preferred engine (Google) → Language → download Italian (Italy).
- iOS: Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → Italian.
If audio worked before, fully close and reopen the app.
How do I back up my progress?
Open Settings and use Share backup or Save backup to device. The file includes all practice sessions, settings, custom verbs, and current practice state. Use Import backup on another device to restore (this replaces current local data).
How do daily reminders work?
Enable Daily reminder in Settings and choose a time. The app asks for notification permission only when you turn this on. You can turn reminders off anytime in Settings.
How do I delete all my data?
Reset progress for a session in the Progress screen, clear app storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Backups you saved elsewhere are not removed automatically — delete those files yourself if you no longer need them. See also our Data & Account Deletion page.
Where is my data stored?
On your device only. PNative Apps does not operate a cloud account for Italian Trainer. Read the privacy policy for full details.
