- We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising or analytics SDKs in the App.
- We do not collect personal information from you through the App’s normal operation.
Overview
PNative Apps (“we”, “us”) publishes PNative Bowling (the “App”),
com.PNative Apps.bowling, an offline bowling score tracker for league and open
play. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how that information
is stored, and what choices you have. By installing or using the App, you agree to this
policy.
Information the App stores on your device
All data below is created by you while using the App. It is stored locally on your phone or tablet in the App’s private storage. We do not receive this data on our servers.
Bowling and session data
When you log games, the App may store:
- Session date and time
- Session type (league or open/practice)
- Game scores (0–300) and when each game was recorded
- Optional session notes
- Optional location (e.g., bowling center name — user-typed, not GPS)
- Optional league name
This data is saved in a local JSON file in the App’s documents directory.
App settings and preferences
The App also stores preferences on your device, such as handicap base and percentage, season start month, default session type, background style, and other display and stats preferences.
Auto-backup files
If you enable Auto-backup in Settings, the App saves a backup automatically when you end or delete a bowling session. These files are stored in a private app folder on your device. We do not upload auto-backup files to PNative Apps servers.
Manual backup and restore
If you use Save backup or Share on the History tab, the App creates a JSON file containing your sessions and settings. That file is written to a location you choose. We do not access backup files you create unless you send them to us voluntarily (for example, when contacting support).
Information we do not collect
When you use the App in its normal, offline mode, we do not:
- Require you to create an account or sign in
- Collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location from the device
- Run advertising or behavioral analytics in the App
- Upload your bowling data to PNative Apps servers
The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs in its current release.
How you may share information
You control when data leaves your device:
- Export / Save backup — you save a JSON file to storage you select.
- Auto-backup — when enabled, backups are written to private app storage when you end a session.
- Share backup — you send a file through your device’s share sheet; recipients and services you choose are outside our control.
- Import backup — you open a JSON file for restore; we do not upload it.
- External links — tapping links to our website, privacy policy, or support opens them in your system browser over HTTPS. We do not pass your bowling data in those URLs.
Internet access and third parties
The App is designed to function without network access for score tracking, statistics, and charts. Limited network-related behavior: external links you tap, app store policies if you download from Google Play, and standard OS diagnostics independent of the App.
Data retention and deletion
Data on your device remains until you delete sessions in the App, use Settings → Delete all data, clear app data in system settings, or uninstall the App. Backups you created remain wherever you saved them until you delete those files. We do not retain your bowling data on our servers through normal App use. See also our Data & Account Deletion page.
Children’s privacy
The App is a general-purpose utility for tracking bowling scores. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We use standard platform storage for local files and preferences. You are responsible for securing your device and any backup files you create or share.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
